“Campaigning for climate- friendly food systems”

Sammy Herdman, an RFC alum and current Senior Campaigner for Climate, Food, and Agriculture at Mighty Earth will share about her work campaigning major corporations in the food sector to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and deforestation in global supply chains, as well as touch on her experience with Real Food Challenge. Actively working in the intersection of Climate and Food, you’ll leave with a better sense of the importance of making change and some of what that work can look like. In the lead up to Earth Day, this will inspire and support you in messaging how Real Food is a part of a viable future on this planet!
