Are you a college student interested in Food Justice? A sustainable future? Do you care about farmworkers and other food-chain workers? Are you curious about how your campus food money fills the pockets of giant corporations?
This gathering is for you! (And your friends too)
2 and a half days of trainings, workshops, discussions, and fun with Real People and Real Food!
Join students from across the country and RFC staff working for Food Justice!

College students have the unique opportunity to influence how their campuses spend their large food budgets! Divesting from corporate food systems and supporting local, resilient, under-served producers will benefit the environment, farm and food chain workers, as well as your dining halls!
It is your money they are spending, it’s time to make sure it is going where you want!

No! Attendance and participation are free, though registration is encouraged to make sure you get all Convergence communications.

Our venue is about an hour from SFO and a little over an hour from SJC (San Jose). We can help coordinate rides from either airport.

We will send an email to gathering more details around your food, lodging, and travel needs in late April, so keep an eye out for it!
We’ll use that information to finalize our plans.

We are committed to supporting your travel and sharing access to funds equitably. Travel stipends are available, and we will do our best to meet as many needs as we can.

We’ll send out detailed information in May, helping you understand what the Retreat will be like day to day.
